Golden State Cider was founded in 2012 on Devoto Orchards in Sebastopol, California, the original cider produced from 100% Gravenstein Apples. Crafted as an echo of the original style, this 10th Anniversary heirloom blend celebrates the bounty of the Sonoma County apple industry as well as the spirit and determination of Golden State Cider.
Harvest season: August through November
Orchard location: Sonoma County
Finish: Stainless steel fermentation
Tasting Notes: Rich and earthy, our 10th Anniversary Cider is a true reflection of the county that shaped it. With notes of honey, cedar and wildflowers, it offers up a bright mouthfeel and a generous and lingering finish with whispers of oak and touches of subtle spice.
Available through the Golden State Cider Specialty Cider Club and at the Golden State Cider Taproom in August 2022.
Made from a wide variety of apples from over 100 orchards in Sonoma County, Farms-to-Cider is a bright amber with a nose that offers up aromas of white tea and wildflowers with hints of honeysuckle and cedar. A medium-bodied cider with soft, barely-perceivable sweetness, Farms-to-Cider showcases a light and pleasing bitterness with touches of umami sure to make your mouth water. Proceeds from Farms to Cider will be donated to Farm to Pantry, a Sonoma County organization dedicated to eradicating food insecurity.
