KARL'S LOOKING A LITTLE HAZY  

A wet hopped cider made with apples and fresh hops grown in California. 

6.9% ABV

Karl is a wet-hopped cider fermented with an IPA yeast to channel the haziness of the Bay Area. We took our fresh-pressed West Coast apple juice, and brewed a portion of it with Columbus Hops, then wet-hopped the finished Karl for 4 days with Locally Grown Organic Cascade Hops. The result is a citrus-forward, freshly-hopped cider, with a bone dry finish. If you ask us, Karl is definitely looking a little hazy!

 

 
 
 

Lé Mint

A botanical barrel aged cider. Bone dry and unfiltered. Apples, spearmint leaves, and Meyer lemon peel.

Lé Mint is a botanical barrel aged cider fermented for 12 months with fresh pressed apple juice, spearmint leaves and lemon peel. Bone dry and unfiltered, this unique cider yields a bouquet of apple blossom, freshly cut grass, and lemon peel on the nose followed by flavors of orange blossom honey and a crisp tartness on the palate. The result is a beautiful and refreshing experience reminiscent of Coastal California.

A tastebud trip made with apples, fair trade pineapples, cinnamon sticks, and piloncillo raw cane sugar.

Every year we look forward to crafting small batches of traditionally-fermented cider grown from estate and locally grown heirloom apples. Since we tend to package most, if not all, of these bona fide small batch ciders on draft, you're a lucky person if you see if on a chalk board and should taste the CA quality.

Our cider is only available on the west coast of California, Oregon, and Washington. We're currently not set up to ship to any states besides CA, OR, and WA. If you're an establishment and would like to carry Golden State Cider, or just want to drink the good stuff, please shoot us a message and we'll do our best to get back to you ASAP. 

Common establishments you will find us in are Whole Foods Markets, BevMo's, Total Wine and More, Raley's, Mollie Stones Markets, Nugget Markets, Safeways (NorCal), as well as local and independent grocers. Follow our Facebook page for events at various establishments in the Bay Area and beyond.

DONATION REQUESTS


 

Golden State Cider Co. takes pride in our partnering with local non-profit organizations. Whether we're pouring at an event or simply donating product to an event, we hope to contribute to the betterment of our community.

Due to the frequency of donation requests and limited inventory, we are not able to donate to every inquiry. We ask that you allow six weeks of lead time before your event to make a donation request.

*Please note that we can only donate to non-profit organizations with 501(c)3 and 501(c)6 status. The non-profit organization must be coordinating and facilitating the event.

We may not donate to an event that is facilitated by a for-profit, 3rd party entity. We will donate up to 4 cases of product per event. Additional cider may be purchased by the organization for the event at our normal pricing. We may offer pourers to help pour product at the event, depending on availability. We will not participate in auctions due to the freshness and storage of our product.
